Almost at the bewitching hour

Hello everyone,
Well it's the early afternoon on Friday, August 19th. I'm leaving at around 4:30 to head to Pickering for the weekend, to spend some time with my brother and my friend Jamie before I go; so this is the last time I will have a chance to write anything until I get to Japan. I can't believe I'm going!!! The last 4 months have flown by and I've had so much fun in the process. Thanks again to everyone for all the support, especially during this last week when I was saying my final farewells. I'll miss you all, and I hope to see you again soon. But the other side of the world is awaiting, and I'm looking forward to the challenge and the new experiences I will encounter. I'll be sure to let you all know what I'm up to. And feel free to give me some comments on my site, I'd always like to hear some feedback and some news from home:)

Hey everyone!!!

My web log is up and running!! Hurrah!!
My plan is to post frequent updates about my life in Japan, including my life at work, at home and my life in the city of Sendai and Japan itself. I'm definitely not a professional writer, so please bear with me if you're taking the time to read my dribble and gobbledeegook. Hopefully I'll keep you entertained with some interesting stories and some lively pictures (as soon as I get a digital camera, of course). So be sure to check back here near the end of September, as I should have a phoneline and internet by then (as well as a picture of myself for my profile :p). Hope to hear from you all soon.
